My Most-Used Baby Must-Haves at 12 Weeks
I spent so much time researching baby products while I was pregnant that I convinced myself we'd use everything on our registry every single day…oh boy, was I wrong!
Some things haven't been touched yet (oops), some things we only use once in a while, and then there are the products that absolutely end up in our hands multiple times a day. At 12 weeks postpartum, these are the baby must-haves that have actually become part of our everyday routine and I can’t imagine surviving a day without them…nor would I want to.

Here are my most used baby must-haves at 12 weeks:
BabyBjörn Bouncer
If I had to pick one baby must-have that gets used every single day, it would probably be this baby bouncer. First off, it’s our go-to item when she hasn’t gone to the bathroom in a few days…if you know what I’m saying. I swear something about sitting in this chair and bouncing helps get things moving. If you know, you know. This chair plus a little prune juice and you’ll be GOLDEN!
It's also our go-to safe place to set her down whenever we need two hands for a minute. Whether I'm making a bottle, unloading the dishwasher, eating lunch, or just brushing my teeth, she's happy sitting in it while watching everything going on around her or with a music toy in front of her. I love having her in this chair while I’m cooking dinner and drinking a glass of wine. It has an attachment for toys and she is obsessed!
I loved this bouncer before she was born because of how supportive it is, but now I love it because we actually use it constantly.
Dr. Brown's Bottles
We went through quite a few bottles during those first several weeks…months even. At first I was breastfeeding, pumping, supplementing with formula, AND trying to figure out what worked best, so we tried out a lot of different brands. Now that she's mainly on formula (with some breast milk mixed in), we've officially landed on Dr. Brown's and I don’t think we will be switching again.
She does really well with them, they're easy for her to drink from, and we haven't had any reason to switch again. Sometimes you don't know what's going to work until your baby decides for you! So, Dr. Brown’s bottles for the win.
Tubby Todd Hair + Body Wash
Okay, I like to keep things pretty simple when it comes to products we use on her skin. Mostly because I’m paranoid of random products. Honestly, this, Aquaphor, and diaper cream are basically the only things we put on her. That's one of the reasons I love Tubby Todd. It's a brand I trust, the ingredients make me feel good, and it leaves her smelling so clean without being overpowering.
We've also started giving her baths more consistently as part of our bedtime routine, so we've been reaching for this several nights a week. Bath time has honestly become one of my favorite parts of the day, and hers!
Kyte Baby Sleep Sacks
Once we stopped swaddling, I was a little nervous about what sleep would look like…But, thankfully, she transitioned really well into the Kyte Baby sleep sacks (at least during the day). We use the XS in the 1.0 TOG, and they've been perfect for this stage.
They're super soft, they wash really well, and they just feel so much nicer than some of the other sleep sacks we've tried. They're definitely one of those products where you can tell the quality is there. She sleeps great in them, and they've become part of our bedtime routine every single night- I highly recommend these as a baby must-have.
Momcozy Bottle Washer
I know people say these are unnecessary…trust me, I thought so too. But once I started exclusively pumping and formula feeding, I realized just how many bottle parts I was washing every single day. It honestly felt like I'd finish washing bottles just in time to turn around and wash another sink full…it sucked!
The Momcozy Bottle Washer has saved me so much time and, honestly, so much sanity. I just load everything in, press a button, and it washes, sterilizes, and dries everything for me. It's one less thing I have to think about during the day, which is huge when you're feeding a baby every few hours. It's one of those products that you don't think you need until you're living it, and now I genuinely can't imagine doing bottles without it.
Mabe Monarch Carrier
I wanted so badly to love my stretchy baby wrap…I really tried. But I hated being in that Trader Joe’s parking lot with this long piece of fabric and trying to wrap her. I felt like everyone was staring at me…and then I’d “succeed” and she’d just feel loose and I’d be uncomfortable and it just wasn’t realistic for everyday life.
The Mabe Monarch Carrier has been so much easier. I can throw it on in less than a minute, get her situated easily, and we're good to go shop to our hearts content. It's also surprisingly comfortable. The weight feels evenly distributed, and I don't feel like my back or shoulders are carrying all the work. Plus, the patterns are so cute!
Whenever she's having a fussy day or wants to contact nap while I still need to get things done around the house, this carrier saves me.
Baby Must-Haves Takeaway
It's funny how different my "must-have" list looks now compared to when I was pregnant…
Some of the products I spent hours researching barely get used, while these baby must-haves have become part of our everyday routine without me even thinking about it. I'm sure this list will look completely different in another few months because she seems to change overnight. But at 12 weeks, these are the products that have earned permanent spots in our daily life.
I'd love to know what your most-used baby item has been. I feel like every parent has that one product they end up recommending to everyone. Comment below and let me know!
